How to Send Gifts to a Whole List in One Order

Holiday gift lists get long fast: clients, coworkers, the neighbors, family in three different states. Placing a separate order for each person, and retyping your payment details every time, is nobody's idea of holiday cheer.

You can now send gift boxes to multiple addresses in a single order. Here's how it works.

Step by step

1. Add your gift boxes to the cart. Sending a box to 25 people? Add 25 of the box you want. You can also mix different boxes for different people.
2. Click "Ship to Multiple Addresses" on the cart page. (It appears once you have two or more items in the cart.)
3. Add your recipients. Type addresses in, or upload your whole list at once (see below).
4. Assign the boxes. With one box type, they're split one per address automatically. With different boxes, choose which box goes to whom.
5. Add gift notes and check out once. Each address becomes its own shipment with its own shipping rate.

Uploading your list as a CSV

For longer lists, the upload saves a lot of typing:

1. In the Ship to Multiple Addresses window, click Download sample CSV. It's a simple spreadsheet template.
2. Fill in one person per row: first name, last name, company, address, city, state, ZIP and country.
3. Add a gift_note column with a personal message for each person, and an optional delivery_instructions column. These fill in automatically for every recipient, so there's no typing at checkout.
4. Save it as a CSV file (in Excel, choose File → Save As → CSV), then click Import addresses from CSV.

A few tips: start from the sample file so the columns match, use two-letter country codes like US, and make sure every row has a street address, city and ZIP code. Rows missing those are skipped.

• Free shipping: orders of $75 or more ship free within the contiguous U.S. When shipping to multiple addresses, each shipment needs to total $75 or more to qualify.
• Same-day shipping: weekday orders placed by 1:00 PM Pacific ship the same day.
• Alaska and Hawaii ship 2-Day Air Express. We don't ship outside the United States.
