  • Family-owned since 1988

Packed and shipped from Burien, Washington.

From Washington to Alaska

Anchorage is one of the places we ship to most outside Washington, and our boxes also go to the Mat-Su Valley, Fairbanks and beyond. Our summer sausage was made to travel: it's naturally smoked, 100% beef and shelf stable until opened.

Shipping options and costs for Alaska are shown at checkout before you pay. We recommend a 2-day air service so the box isn't in transit for long. Order early in the holiday season, because air carriers get busy in December.

Family Owned and Operated Since 1988

A family business since 1988

In 1988, Dan started selling sausage and other snacks out of his ‘74 Dodge Dart. He drove his reliable old car from the main streets of Seattle to the foothills of Mount Rainier, entering businesses to present his Original Summer Sausages as well as other local treats. He admits it was not easy, but he welcomed the challenge. After a few months he perfected his introduction; he would enter an office and say, “I am Dan the Sausageman!” People would laugh, Dan would sell, and Dan the Sausageman was born!
