Dan the Sausageman started in 1988 with a '74 Dodge Dart and a trunk full of summer sausage. Today the family business still packs and ships every order right here in Burien.

Send a box across town to a friend in Seahurst or Normandy Park, or across the country to family who miss the Northwest. Either way, it leaves from our kitchen the same day when you order by 1:00 PM Pacific on a weekday.

Family Owned and Operated Since 1988

A family business since 1988

In 1988, Dan started selling sausage and other snacks out of his ‘74 Dodge Dart. He drove his reliable old car from the main streets of Seattle to the foothills of Mount Rainier, entering businesses to present his Original Summer Sausages as well as other local treats. He admits it was not easy, but he welcomed the challenge. After a few months he perfected his introduction; he would enter an office and say, “I am Dan the Sausageman!” People would laugh, Dan would sell, and Dan the Sausageman was born!
