Why Spokane sends Dan's

  • Same-day shipping

Weekday orders placed by 1:00 PM Pacific leave our Burien kitchen the same day.

  • Free shipping over $75

Orders of $75 or more ship free within the contiguous U.S. Washington addresses get our Express rate.

  • One order, many addresses

Send a different gift and note to everyone on your list in a single checkout.

  • Shelf stable and ready to share

Our naturally smoked, 100% beef summer sausage keeps on the shelf until opened.

Across the Cascades, still close to home

Spokane is a long drive from our kitchen in Burien, but it's still home state. Washington addresses get our Express shipping rate, so a gift box doesn't have to wait for the next trip over the pass.

Long Inland Northwest winters are made for snacking. Our summer sausage is shelf stable until opened, which makes it a practical gift for cabins, college students and family who'd rather not drive to the store in the snow.

Family Owned and Operated Since 1988

A family business since 1988

In 1988, Dan started selling sausage and other snacks out of his ‘74 Dodge Dart. He drove his reliable old car from the main streets of Seattle to the foothills of Mount Rainier, entering businesses to present his Original Summer Sausages as well as other local treats. He admits it was not easy, but he welcomed the challenge. After a few months he perfected his introduction; he would enter an office and say, “I am Dan the Sausageman!” People would laugh, Dan would sell, and Dan the Sausageman was born!
